Life is like TV sometimes - NOT!
So if my life was a medical TV series, this blog would be the off-voice at the end of the episode. Gimme a break, I just watched Scrubs (and had the first big laugh in 2 days) and ER.
Unfortunately I am no doctor, but just a nasty patient. Called today again the hospital, felt weird. Now I know that their 24 hour emergency line is being neglected during lunch break. But the good thing is, today's episode of my medical life has a new guest star!! Please welcome on stage: Hypertension! Hurray! My body is not only offering me an entertaining metabolism disorder, but also kickass side effects caused by the pills I am throwing in on a daily basis!
The day started so bright, I even had good a mood. Did not last for long, than this side effect of the medicine (or is it the illness?) appeared. It feels like your body is squeezing itself under your skin. Coffee does not help by the way. My only option seemed swimming a mile again to distract myself. I dropped the idea, as eventually standing in the entrance of the swimming pool I realized that I am sick of it! Tomorrow, believe me!
Honestly, I felt like a sad piece of shit most time of the day. Where is my free will, pride, intelligence, humour, spine, love and spontaneous character? Why is the only way that I can communicate with people seemingly verbal aggression? All side effects as well?
As far as the blood pressure was concerned, I just had to accept it. I tried to listen to slow music to calm down, but it did not help. Dance music neither of course, but it eased dealing with it.
